Season 3 is a busy one for our violinist Cora Venus Lunny, who will perform no less than four concerts across the country between now and the end of the year, while she, clarinettist Paul Roe and flautist Bill Dowdall will round off the series’ regular appearance at the National Concert Hall’s Kevin Barry Room. Tickets for concerts at the Kevin Barry Room are priced €12/€8 (students), and are available from the National Concert Hall’s Box Office at www.nch.ie, or 01 417000001 4170000, with no booking fee. Full information on each performer's programme is below.

December also sees a special addition to the Irish Canon roster: a performance by renowned pianist Mary Dullea to mark the launch of her upcoming album of music by Irish composers, to be released on Métier Divine Art. Her programme features music by a number of Irish composers, and focusses on the music of John McLachlan in celebration of the composer’s fiftieth birthday. More details on the album launch, in association with the Contemporary Music Centre, will be released shortly.

This period will also see the launch and announcement of a new AIC project and concert series titled Irish Composers on Irish Music: performances by and talks on composition in Ireland given by composers themselves, launching over the next two months. In 2015 the Irish Canon series begins its international element, with concerts in Ireland and abroad by the brilliant roster of performers.
