16th February 2010 - IMRO increases support to AIC

We are particularly delighted to announce that IMRO, the Irish Music Rights Organisation, has decided to increase its support substantially to AIC for 2010, up from €2000 to €5000, while we work on improving our funding stability in the coming year, following the shock decision of the Arts Council to cut AIC from its annual funding programme. There is every chance that AIC can make successful applications to the Arts Council under its other existing support schemes, so we hope to have good news on that front in the future.
