23rd July 2009 - Irish Composition Summer School
The 27th Irish Composition Summer School (formerly the Ennis Composition Summer School) took place at DIT Conservatory of Music, Rathmines, from July 23rd to 31st 2009. The course centred on writing for Horn Trio with or without electronics. The guest performers were the Clarion Horn Trio (Ian Dakin, hn; Elaine Clark, vn; and John Clark, pf). Composers who attended wrote works with the supervision of Nicola Lefanu, Judith Ring and Martin O'Leary, and had their works performed and recorded by the trio.
