Recently AIC has heard from Culture Ireland that it will support the visit of ConTempo string quartet to Finland this July (see our other news). They are offering €1,400 towards this project. Meanwhile IMRO has offered AIC €2,000 towards concert activities in the Autumn. There will be more announcements here soon with details about concert activities and opportunities in 2009. Funding from the Arts Council for 2009 remained at €19,000, the same as our 2008 funding; which was a good result for the current economic situation.
