
MARY KELLY studied music at UCD and composition with James Wilson, Dublin, Robert Saxton, London and David Dramm Amsterdam.She also attended workshops at Dartington summer school and at Aix-en-Provence. While living in Amsterdam she was involved in Stichting Vrouw en Muziek. Her works include chamber music, music for ballet, music for children and as she is also a choral conductor, she has a particular interest in writing for choir.As well as being performed and broadcast at home and abroad, her works are featured on the syllabuses at a number of third level colleges.She lives in Dublin with her husband and four children.
